How to dress on date advice please -read below (guys and girls)?

On Saturday, I am going to be on a date with this girl (our first date together) and it is a small, above average restaurant in a college town. It's kinda low-key. How should I dress? I don't wanna be too bold or too underdressed. I am 24 by the way. I know no dress clothes or t-shirt, but what else. Any other tips helpful too.How to dress on date advice please -read below (guys and girls)?
I would say khakis and a nice button-up shirt would be perfect. Not too dressy, but not under-dressed either.
