Well, since it's only for one night, why not just go to a second hand store, find an ugly sweater and buy it. That way you don't have to ruin any of yours, and you can pick up an ugly sweater cheap.
P.S. You might want to wear a nice t-shirt underneath incase you end up being the only one there who took the 'ugly sweater' dress code seriously, or if you end up just getting sick of wearing it.Okay guys, advice on tacky sweater please?

Don't wear anything underneath it. That should make it look tacky.

Honestly I wont wear a tacky sweater, you could be a rebel and say the heck with it and wear a nice sweater that you like.
